Description |
Full stock Flintlock Virginia Long rifle with a 41 in. octagonal barrel that is approximately 50 cal., one silver inlay and is brass mounted with a patch box that is plain. A period wear plate is incorporated forward of the trigger guard and is decorated with a floral pattern engraving. Attributed to Rockingham County, Virginia, c. 1830 - 1840. 55 1/2" length.
