Collection Pleasant Hill Extension Homemakers' Club Records

Extension Homemaker's Clubs were formed to give members a chance to keep up with all things pertaining to homemaking and also to provide fellowship with friends and neighbors. Educational programs were provided through the Virginia Extension Homemaker's Clubs on parenting, nutrition, home repairs, and financial planning,

Consists of minutes, attendance, rosters, photos, certificates and clippings. Folders 4 and 5 contain photographs and photocopies of scrapbook pages. The original scrapbook was acidic and discarded after photocopying.
