John Clinedinst Morrison of Harrisonburg, VA and Henrietta Helena Stirewalt of New Market were married on November 16, 1857. John was a carriage and wagon builder and owned and operated a factory in Harrisonburg, VA. His products were known for their quality and workmanship and they were used in the vicinity of Harrisonburg and throughout the State of Virginia. He served in the First Virginia Regulars in the Confederate Army.
