Scope & Content BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE: Edith C. Garber, (1903-1993) of Mount Clinton was the daughter of Solomon Garber and Elizabeth Virginia Senger Cline. She attended the State Teachers College and studied voice at Bridgewater College. Mrs. Garber was a painter and violinist. She was a member of the Muhlenberg Lutheran Church. She married Abram Lynwood Garber in 1924 and is buried at Raders Lutheran Church Cemetery in Timberville, VA.

SCOPE AND CONTENT: Miscellaneous items purchased at the Garber estate sale, mainly poems and prayers written by Edith Garber, one small scrapbook, and a story written about their son who was killed in World War II (housed this in separate interleaving folder).
